I am a pop, rock, funk and folk guitar teacher, based in Brighton in Sussex, offering two main types of tuition: one-to-one beginners, intermediate and advanced lessons and parent/child lessons, in which an adult learns together with their child or children. Parent/child lessons are a fun way for you and your child to learn a new skill together.

I had punished a guitar for years but never really 'learnt' how to play it. I went along full of bad habits and self consciousness and Henry demonstrated a reassuring warmth and a near Olympian patience. Lessons are fun but focused and geared toward what I want to play. He is a good teacher.

After 15 years of playing without lessons, I was impressed with a friend who had just started lessons with Henry. He was learning very quickly and always excited with what he was learning. My lessons have been really helpful. They've helped me fix bad habits, made my playing a lot better by learning simple tricks and methods and got me interested in loads of new styles I never thought I'd manage.
